  Buffalo Rocket Society members are friendly, creative, experienced, safety minded, and work very hard to make BRS membership a rewarding, educational, and fun experience for everyone involved. We are always looking for new members who are eager to accomplish their own rocketry goals and help support the Society's activities in the process.
The modest, annual financial support of our members is vital to the organization's goals and allows the Society to purchase and maintain ground support equipment, launch pads, communication gear, and other supplies in benefit of our members rocketry activities. The BRS has also been approached by corporate and community sponsors who want to support organized, safe and educational rocketry activities in Western New York.
Our current members include several seasoned rocketeers, some with over 20 years of model and high power rocketry experience. Some members have achieved national recognition for their rocket projects and have appeared on PBS, The Learning Channel and Discovery Channel programs on space and rocketry. Others hold important positions in their regular jobs in a variety of fields including: engineering, computers, electronics, and management. They are all a great resource for new members and rocketeers who are just getting started.
